Live updates
Plans change. Everyone stays in the loop.
Every Zavella app has an Updates page. The person you choose, your planner, a family member, or your tour director, posts from a simple form on their phone, and it shows up in the app within minutes. No group texts, no reply-all emails.
From one phone to everyone's app.
We set it all up. The person posting just fills in a short form.
We set up your form
A private update form made just for your event and connected to your app.
You choose who posts
Only the people you name can open the form, such as your planner, a family member, or your tour director.
They post from any phone
Pick a type, add a short title and message, and tap submit. It takes under a minute.
It appears in the app
Within a few minutes the update is at the top of the Updates page, newest first and time-stamped.
Three kinds of updates
Each one gets its own label, so guests can tell at a glance what matters.
Shuttles to the reception now leave the hotel at 4:45 instead of 5:00.
Update: something changed and people need to know.
Free parking in the main lot. If it fills, overflow is directly across the street.
Info: helpful details, like parking, weather, or what to bring.
We're so glad you're here. Coffee and pastries in the lobby until 10.
Note: a friendly message or a reminder.
Who usually posts?
Your planner or a family member
Someone who's there all weekend and knows when plans shift, so the couple never has to pick up a phone.
Your tour director or office team
A changed departure time or a new meeting point goes to every traveler, and every party's version, at once.
Common questions
Does the person posting need any technical skills?
No. If they can fill in a short form on their phone, they can post an update. We walk them through it once before the event.
Do they need an account?
They need a Google account. That's how we make sure only the people you've named can open the form.
How quickly do guests see an update?
Usually within a few minutes. Guests see the latest updates whenever they open the app, and they can tap Refresh on the Updates page at any time.
Do guests get a notification?
No. Updates don't send phone notifications. They appear at the top of the Updates page, which is where guests look when they want to know what's happening.
Can updates be posted before the event?
Yes. It's a good way to share reminders in the weeks leading up, like hotel deadlines, packing tips, or what to wear.
