Who we are

Zavella LLC (“Zavella,” “we,” “us”) is an Illinois limited liability company that designs and builds custom web apps for group travel, weddings, and events, and websites for small businesses. This notice covers zavella.app, our questionnaires, and the apps we build for our clients.

What we collect

• What you send us. When you email us, book a call, or fill out a questionnaire, we receive what you choose to share: names, contact details, event or trip details, schedules, and any files you upload (logos, photos, itineraries, documents).
• Details about other people. To build an app, clients often send us details about their guests, travelers, attendees, speakers, or vendors. If you send us someone else's information, you confirm you're allowed to share it for that purpose.
• Basic technical data. Like every website, our hosting provider receives standard request data (such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested) to deliver and secure the site.

We don't use advertising trackers, analytics cookies, or tracking pixels on zavella.app.

How we use it

• To reply to you, schedule calls, and send proposals, agreements, and invoices.
• To design, build, update, and support the app or website you ordered.
• To keep our records, meet legal and tax obligations, and protect our rights.

We don't sell or rent personal information, and we don't share it for advertising.

Who we share it with

We use a small set of service providers to run the business. They handle information on our behalf:

• Cloudflare hosts zavella.app and the apps we build.
• Google (Workspace, Drive, Sheets, Forms, and Fonts) stores our email, files, and questionnaire answers, powers live updates in apps, and serves the fonts on our pages.
• Cal.com handles call booking.
• Xero handles invoicing and payments.

We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or someone's safety, or as part of a sale or transfer of the business.

The apps we build

Each Zavella app is made for one trip, wedding, or event and is shared by private link. The content in it (schedules, places, names, contacts) comes from the host who ordered it, such as a couple, planner, tour operator, or event organizer. That host decides what goes in the app and who gets the link.

• Our apps don't require an account and don't use advertising or tracking.
• Some features call outside services to work: maps open in Google Maps, and weather comes from Open-Meteo.
• If an app lets guests share photos, those photos can be seen by others with the link and by the host.
• If you see your information in an app and want it changed or removed, contact the host or us.

Apps are taken down after the trip or event ends, as set out in our agreement with the host.

How long we keep it

We keep project information for as long as we need it to deliver and support the project, then delete traveler, guest, and event details from our working files within 30 days after an app comes down. We keep business records, such as agreements and invoices, as long as tax and legal rules require.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we have about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing [email protected]. We'll respond within 30 days. If your information came to us from a client (for example, a wedding couple or tour operator), we may coordinate with them.

Children

Our website and services are meant for adults. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Hosts may include family members in an app at their own discretion; if you believe we have a child's information that should be removed, contact us.

Security

We use reputable providers, private links, and limited access to protect your information. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

Changes

If we update this notice, we'll change the effective date above. Significant changes will be noted on this page.
